DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent to join our Building Products team, based at Doncaster Block Plant.
At Breedon, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and showing that we care for customers as well as making a material difference to them. Our customers love the fact that we pick up the phone, understand what they need and consistently deliver as well as treating them as individuals.
To make this happen you will also be involved in ordering materials in and the stock management process.
You’ll be an ideal fit for this position if you enjoy building relationships and have a great sense of humour as well as a strong work ethic.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week based at the Doncaster offices.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail
  • Efficient multi-tasker
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and peers within your team
  • No experience in Building products is required however a can do attitude and positive out look is a must.
  • Working in a fast paced environment as well as multi tasking under pressure.
  • Phone based experience is not essential however an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Dealing with inbound enquiries from customers, processing, planning and organising the transport of the ordered materials.
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting Block Plant Manager with production planning
  • To respond to enquiries in a timely manner, including tracking orders and communicating with key stakeholders, from start to the point the goods are delivered to them.
  • Working collaboratively with customers and commercial teams to ensure the best service.
  • Report to the Commercial Manager with any feedback and comments from customers.
  • Dealing with suppliers and issuing purchase orders for materials and parts.
