CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ACCESS TEAM OFFICER

Full Time / 37 Hours / Permanent
We have two full time, permanent posts working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You’ll be expected to have the flexibility to work between the hours of 07:00-21:00 depending on the needs of the service and may need to work occasional evenings and weekends. Based between City and Town Hall.
Appointment to a level within this post will depend on the outcome of the selection process and experience of the successful candidate. This post is career graded (LG Band 3 – LG Band 4). Progress can occur if vacancies arise at the higher grade. Dependant on availability of a vacancy at the higher level. There is no automatic progression.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the security and safety of City Hall and occupants, supporting evacuation procedures when required. Providing exemplary, face-to-face, telephone and email customer service in a high-profile environment. You will be working with colleagues, members of the public, contractors, external companies, health and safety and public sector bodies to ensure we provide a welcoming, professional and safe environment for all people that enter our buildings. Efficiently and effectively operate including meeting room AV equipment a range of I.T systems and relevant computer system databases including Content management systems ensuring that all information entered and retrieved is up to date. Manage room bookings using information in the booking system and other requests assists with rooms and facilities being set up appropriately.
