SKILLS

  • Strong written communication skills, primarily email correspondence
  • Experience with ERP systems (asset, Epicor).
  • High attention to detail with a focus on error-free data entry
  • Ability to interpret basic technical information and drawings (asset)
  • Experience with ERP systems (asset)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or data entry role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably custom metal fabrication (strong asset)
  • Previous background as an engineer or estimator (asset)
Responsibilities
  • Route customer quote requests (RFQs) for Sales by:
    Setting up a new customer master file for prospects
    Creating Epicor quotes with all lines and quantities
    Organizing and uploading RFQ contents into the Customer Supplied documents folder
    Creating and managing Docushare collections
    Routing RFQs to Estimating using Docushare

Following up with Estimating to ensure timely responses

  • Assist Sales/Account Representatives with client’s requirements
  • Provide vacation or workload coverage for regular Customer Service duties, including order review/entry, confirmations, order status updates, and processing change requests
  • Respond to miscellaneous customer inquiries, including RMA requests, technical questions, and complaints, ensuring inquiries are acknowledged and directed to the appropriate person for resolution
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Purchasing departments to provide assistance as needed
