A competitive starting wage is offered and will be based upon your skill level. You will perform a variety of tasks at the UPS Store: customer service to include processing shipping transactions, packing shipments, communicating with shipping and print customers, faxing, providing on-demand print and copy service, answering phone calls, design/set-up/print and finish a wide variety of print products including business cards, postcards, banners, etc.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is a self-starter, has strong computer skills, professional appearance, able to work at a fast-pace, must be able to tolerate frequent lifting, and working under pressure to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Previous experience in graphic design is preferred, not required.The UPS store is a family owned and operated small business. We value good work ethic, ability to learn, and provide our customers with excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Retail/customer service experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (Preferred)
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40+ pounds/bend and lift frequently

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer’s shipping/printing needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Calls customers to arrange pickup of products
• Checks in inventory
• Helps customers with expert boxing and packaging, selling the appropriate products to ship materials safely and efficiently
