Three (3) years of experience* in workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, or employer engagement

  • Associate’s degree in human services, rehabilitation counseling, education, public administration, finance, or other closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute six (6) months of experience; bachelor’s degree substitutes for one (1) year of experience; master’s degree substitutes for eighteen (18) months of experience

Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:

  • Knowledge of workplace accessibility solutions, assistive technology, and disability hiring practices
  • Knowledge of sector-based training programs, including digital skills, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analysis, and customer service management
  • Experience developing and managing business partnerships
  • Experience in case management, data tracking, or similar tools
  • Communication, analytical, facilitations, and problem-solving skills
  • Incumbent must maintain valid driver’s license and insurance OR have other reliable transportation. Travel arrangements can be made with drivers employed by State Services for the Blind upon request and depending on availability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience designing and implementing CST workforce training programs, apprenticeships, and/or career pathways for individuals with disabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical assistance to employers
  • Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, employment law, and inclusive hiring best practices
  • Experience analyzing workforce data and employment trends to inform sector-based workforce development strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including employers, workforce agencies, and technology providers, to enhance career opportunities for BLVDB individuals
