JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly, proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service across various channels including phone and email. You will handle enquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure every customer interaction is positive and professional.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and the ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Working as part of a busy team
  • Working with employees from all levels

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Degree level educated preferable
  • Interest in wine - ideally WSET Level 2 trained but not essential
Responsibilities
  • Processing orders, uplifts and credits sent through to the sales inbox
  • Running the call control on allocated days
  • Releasing web orders placed online with correct delivery details
  • Liaising with the warehouse regarding carrier deliveries
  • Running and completing daily reports on allocated days
  • Liaising with customers and Regional Account Managers regarding out of stocks
  • Answering incoming calls on a daily basis and dealing with appropriately
  • Registering and converting customers to online ordering
  • Contacting Private and Trade customers registered within the En Primeur programme
  • Assisting the Marketing department with weekly/monthly reports, regular competitor analysis, and Social Media content
