Job Role: Hospitality Assistant (Aged 16–17)
Location: Kennys Sports Bar
Hours: Part-time including weekend work
Pay: Meets National Minimum Wage for age group

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Hospitality Assistant, you’ll play a key part in keeping the venue clean, welcoming, and running smoothly. You’ll support the team by collecting glasses, helping with food service, washing up, and maintaining tidy tables and pool areas. It’s a great opportunity to build confidence, learn teamwork, and gain experience in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Glass Collecting
• Safely collect empty glasses from tables and return them to the bar or kitchen
• Check for breakages and report any damaged items
• Waitress / Waiter Support
• Stock replenishment throughout the shift
• Serve food and drinks to tables with a friendly attitude
• Clear tables promptly after customers leave
• Washing Up
• Clean dishes, cutlery, and glassware using commercial dishwashers
• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Cleaning Tables & Pool Tables
• Wipe down tables between customers
• Keep pool tables clean and tidy, including brushing and chalking if required
• Empty bins, take rubbish out and keep the customer areas neat
