JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized premises. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a bar attendant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
  • Knowledge of different types of beverages and drink preparation techniques.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Age over 18 years only due to the nature of the job

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as kegs and boxes of supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
  • Drink Preparation: Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale system.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment.
