Brixham Library is seeking an enthusiastic people-focused person to join our team.
This is a frontline role and will involve working as part of team of Customer Service Assistants to develop and deliver excellent services and activities and customer care on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will deliver an excellent, friendly, proactive and responsive service to our customers, ensuring the best possible customer experience for all of those using the library. Help create a welcoming environment which offers a compelling experience for new library customers, whilst also sustaining use by existing customers.
You don’t need qualifications or previous library experience to join us – we’ll give you all the relevant training you’ll need. It’s your passion for helping others, strong IT skills, and your excellent organisation skills that are more important to us.
This is an opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a customer-facing role. If you love being creative, planning events and activities, and working in a fast-paced customer focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.24 per hour
Expected hours: 10.5 per week
