Customer Service Assistant – The Deck Restaurant, Exmouth

About the Role

  • Welcome every guest with a friendly smile and positive attitude
  • Take food and drink orders, serve guests, and ensure their needs are always met
  • Collaborate with your team to maintain smooth, timely, and friendly service
  • Share your knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and options with confidence
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation by setting, cleaning, and resetting tables
  • Follow all health & safety and hygiene procedures
  • Pitch in across the team during busy shifts, events, or special occasions

About You

  • Barista training or experience required
  • Passionate about hospitality and taking care of people
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or fast-paced customer service environment is beneficial (but a willingness to learn is just as important!)
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
  • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and proud of your work
  • Flexible, friendly, and excited to be part of an ambitious, growing team
  • Due to licensing laws, applicants must be aged 18 or over
