Whitby Holiday Park is a family owned Holiday Park located on the scenic coastline of North Yorkshire, perched on a cliff top with magnificent views of the North Yorkshire Coast. Set amidst peaceful footpaths, golden beaches and beautiful countryside, we have a wide selection of high quality holiday homes, glamping pods and touring/motorhome pitches.
We are looking to recruit individuals to support our Holiday Park on a seasonal/casual basis, in either our Reception, Bar and Bistro or our Maintenance function. If you have a varied skillset then you may be able to work in more than one of these areas.
These opportunities would suit individuals looking for flexible working hours, who enjoy variety and working in a customer-focused environment.
These roles will play a key part in providing an excellent customer experience and ensuring our park facilities and accommodations are presented to the highest standard.
The roles will be varied and key responsibilities will include:

RECEPTION DUTIES

• Greeting and checking in guests with a warm and professional attitude
• Managing bookings via phone, email, and booking software
• Handling guest enquiries and providing local information
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
• Posting and monitoring our social media platforms, in line with our internal procedures

MAINTENANCE DUTIES

• Carrying out maintenance tasks and repairs around the park
• Assisting with cleaning and preparing accommodation units
• Performing general grounds keeping (e.g., mowing, litter picking)
• Responding to issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction

BAR AND BISTRO DUTIES:

• Taking and preparing food/drink orders
• Using the tills to serve customers
• Ensuring the environment is presented to a high standard
• Ensuring our customers have an excellent experience.
  The successful candidate will have previous experience in similar role/s to the above.
  We operate a 7 day rota system across the park and your hours of work will be set in line with our rota, which will include weekend working. This would be discussed more at interview. These roles will form part of our casual pool of workers who will be called across usually during our busy periods.
  Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract
  Pay: £12.77 per hour
