Granville Supplies Ltd is looking for a trade counter / warehouse assistant to join our Peterborough branch, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
The main role would be customer based, serving on our Trade Counter, responding to emails & answering incoming phone calls.
The ideal candidate will be a confident individual who can join our team to deliver a great service to our customers.
We will help you develop an in depth knowledge of our products and processes, giving you the communication and people skills you’ll need to deliver the high levels of service our customers expect.
You do not need a background in the paint or body repair industry products as ’on the job training’ will be given.
This position would ideally suit somebody who is local to the Peterborough area.
Initial role will be:
1. Answering phone calls, emails & serving customers at the trade counter.
2. Ensuring communication with Customers & Sales Team is kept to a high level.
3. Keeping the Shop/Showroom tidy, organised & inviting.
4. Keeping on top of the stock, ordering items when required.
5. Liaising with the team to ensure, orders are going out correctly.
6. Other tasks to assist with day to day service.
7. Occasional paint mixing
8. Occasional delivery driving (to cover for holidays etc.) - must have full UK driving license held for minimum of one year and be aged over 21 for insurance purposes.
Some heavy lifting will be required
Forklift license / experience would be preferred but not necessary
