Description
Location Altura Stone and Tile, New Jersey Report to Customer Service Supervisor The New Jersey branch Customer Service Associate is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of Altura Stone and Tile. The duties include but are not limited to answering phone calls or emails from customers to answer questions, participating in sales operations, and making sure orders are processed and the delivery schedule is met timely. Tasks Responsibilities: · Provide customers with on-hand stock status, images, freight costs, future stock ETA, and perform order-related Q&As. · Interact with customers and handle customer queries and complaints promptly. · Process sales order date entry in SPS, verify stock level and pricing, and identify AR status before releasing the order for shipping. · Support Sales Reps as needed with tagging materials, preparing samples for orders, taking pictures of products, and sending info via email or text to sales reps or customers. · Collaborate with other locations on the stock check, delivery arrangements, tracking numbers, and customer service-related tasks. · Verify open sales orders weekly, engage sales rep and customer to release orders for shipping. · Assist the accounting department with past-due collections. · Conduct daily filing as assigned. · Stay current on the latest product knowledge. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager and Senior management. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: · 2+ years of experience in a wholesale business operation · Experience in the Stone Distribution business is a plus · Highly organized multi-tasker with an eye for detail · Knowledge of company products and client business · Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once while effectively managing through stressful situations · Four-year college degree is preferred but not required Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Fairfield, NJ 07004 (Required) Work Location: In person
