Description Belstra is searching for a self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented individual to work closely with our customers to help overcome and resolve any product and service questions or concerns customers may have in the best way possible. This individual will also be responsible for entering feed orders, printing and cutting feed tags, communicating with both fulfillment and production about orders as well as contacting customers about order updates and delays when needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Receiving customer orders through various communication platforms Promptly respond to phone calls and emails regarding feed orders, feed questions, potential new customers, delivery quotes, etc. Address any customer inconveniences Correctly enter orders into a company-specific feed manufacturing program such as Feed Mill Manager and organize the delivery board to assist BMC Transport Maintaining accuracy and honesty in job functions Print and cut feed tags for orders Troubleshoot issues on past orders and changes Willingness to learn about our feed line in order to answer customer questions Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Contact customers with any feed issues or delays Requirements Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to): Ability to multitask Ability to think ahead Ability to identify problems and find a resolution Professional telephone etiquette Exceptional listening skills Exceptional time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Strong communication skills within and outside of our company Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to work well with a team Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required Relevant certificate or Associate degree preferred, but not required Customer service experience – preferred but not required Agriculture background – preferred but not required Safety and Training Requirements: Employees in this role are required to complete and maintain the following safety trainings, as applicable: General New Hire Safety Training Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Requirements
Responsibilities
The associate will handle customer orders, resolve product and service concerns, and communicate updates regarding delays. They are also responsible for data entry into manufacturing programs and coordinating with fulfillment and production teams.
