QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 plus years of office/administrative experience in agricultural sales-related business, seed experience preferred
  • Post-secondary education in office, business related programs
  • Accounting experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel & Word
  • Navision software experience an asset
Responsibilities

This job is responsible for creating an environment of good customer service through actions. This includes ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, ensure interactions are dealt with in a professional manner and maintain a positive, friendly work ethic within a team environment. Strong data entry skills and a working knowledge of the Microsoft platform is required. Balance the needs of internal/external customers and the business unit administrative requirements.

  • Customer Service activities for our Retail Division -ensure “total customer satisfaction”
  • Order entry processing activities
  • Creating blend sheets
  • Posting Blend sheets
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts Receivables activities – invoicing, credit memo processing as needed
  • Assist sales team activities -quotes, pricing, and availability
  • Tracking Shipments
  • Accounts Payable activities as needed
  • Support other team members
