MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8.30AM TO 5PM

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in the Customer Service Centre (CSC) based at our BSW Timber site in Carlisle. Responsible for providing first class customer service and sales support for key customer accounts across the BSW Group, you will manage customer enquiries, identifying and meeting the needs of customers daily.

Responsibilities

SPECIFICALLY, SOME RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR INCLUDE:

  • Customer call handling & responding to email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proficiently maintain and record interactions and orders via Salesforce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, providing order acknowledgements, confirming accurate pricing and product information.
  • Review order history to plan and forecast customer needs, ensuring service levels meet and exceed expectations.
  • Be proactive in contacting customers, following up orders and make offers of focus products and reject/2nd grade stock.
  • Work with fellow team members in checking orders and correcting errors.
  • Act as liaison between customer, logistics, credit control, marketing, planning and sites across the group.

Already experienced in a customer service or an internal sales role, you have a proven track record in the management of key customer relationships. You are confident and motivated with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with customers, whilst planning and prioritising a busy workload. In addition, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Metric/Imperial measurement understanding.
  • A high attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach.
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
