WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO WORK WITH CUSTOMERS — WHETHER THAT’S IN RETAIL, TRADES, LOGISTICS, HOSPITALITY, OR MANUFACTURING — AND IS READY TO APPLY THEIR EXPERIENCE IN A NEW SETTING.

As the first point of contact at our busy Rockhampton branch, you’ll be the person our customers count on to get the right gear for the job. You don’t need to come from the equipment hire industry — we’ll train you. What matters is that you know how to solve problems, keep things moving, and work well with others.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work directly with customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email
  • Create quotes and hire schedules, raise purchase orders and invoices
  • Coordinate equipment logistics — deliveries, transfers, pickups, breakdowns
  • Pitch in with hands-on help in the yard if needed (some physical work involved)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced or hands-on environment
  • Confident with basic computer tasks (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Willing to learn about our equipment and how it’s used on site
  • Good communicator, able to stay calm under pressure and prioritise competing tasks
