JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
We are currently seeking a permanent part-time individual as we cannot guarantee full-time hours. The successful candidate may be offered a full-time position in the future. The candidate must be available to work any shift from Tuesday to Friday 9 am to 6:30 pm and Saturday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
  • Experience with POS systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or deli setting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.

    Pay: From $15.80 per hour
    Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Responsibilities

  • Handle cash and perform cash handling duties with attention to detail.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed.
