What the Role Covers

Inbound & Outbound Shipment Management

You manage end-to-end inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support production priorities. You track shipments proactively, identify delays, and execute mitigation actions including re-routing, expediting, and alternative carrier sourcing.

Customs & Documentation Compliance

You prepare, validate, and control all shipping and customs documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, and permits — ensuring full regulatory compliance. You ensure correct packaging, labeling, and handling for sensitive, serialized, or controlled items in line with internal standards and carrier requirements.

Production & Warehouse Coordination

You coordinate deliveries to align with warehouse receiving capacity, material staging, and production sequencing, minimizing disruption and cost impact. You support logistics execution for finished goods distribution and internal transfers, and maintain accurate ERP/WMS transactions and documentation.

KPI Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

You monitor logistics KPIs covering OTD/OTIF, transit time, cost, and incidents, and support continuous improvement initiatives based on root-cause analysis in collaboration with Warehouse, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years in logistics roles within manufacturing or industrial operations with international shipment exposure
• Experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers, and customs processes in regulated or defense environments
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance fundamentals
• Controlled items or Dangerous Goods awareness is a strong plus
• ERP/WMS exposure preferred with a disciplined approach to data accuracy
• UAE logistics operations experience preferred
• Defense sector experience is a significant advantage
