JOB SUMMARY

Blue Ribbon Awards is a family owned and operated business serving the Chippewa Valley since 1968. We offer a variety of award products, engraving services, custom signage, vinyl decals and personalized gift specialty products. We are seeking a motivated individual to join are team. Applicant will enjoy our small business atmosphere and the variety of day-to-day tasks. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries, invoicing, managing inventory, graphic design and assisting production to complete finished products as needed.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a graphic design, customer service, engraving, printing or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with assembly processes and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience using computer automated equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computers, hand tools, power tools and automated equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide quotes and detailed product information to customers.
  • Create product proofs using graphic design software.
  • Manage Inventory and source needed materials, parts and supplies.
  • Assist production with assembly to complete products and services.
  • Utilize hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Operate laser engravers and other computerized equipment.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with customers and coworkers to meet all order requirements or delivery timeline.
  • Read blue prints and product specifications to meet order requirements.
