JOB SUMMARY

Cowshed Interiors is an online retailer of home interiors. We are in a rural location just outside of Alcester and following a long period of growth and opening our onsite showroom, we are now needing a new member of our small friendly team.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Customer Service professional to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess good retail/customer facing experience and administrative skills, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities with the ability to work well on your own and make the job their own.
This role requires proficiency in various computer applications, good communicative skills - excellent phone etiquette and email conversations, together with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience with a focus on customer service duties
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using Apple and Google Workspace
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • A creative flair and interest in home interiors would be good
  • Previous retail experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support in assisting the team
  • Develop relationships with customers, interior designers and suppliers
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Provide support for data entry tasks accurately and promptly
  • Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
  • Utilise Apple, Google Drive and Google Workspace for document creation and management
  • Manage showroom areas, liaise with customers, take payments as needed on site
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and productivity
