Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking two experienced Customer Service Officers to join our National Operations Centre in Adelaide. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring service requests are managed accurately, efficiently, and within KPI timeframes. This role is ideal for someone with strong call centre or operations centre experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality customer outcomes. You will bring a calm, professional phone manner, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and action requests quickly while maintaining accuracy. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming client calls promptly (within 10 seconds KPI) Interpret and action requests within required timeframes Log work orders accurately using the CMMS Provide updates, reports, and information to clients and service providers Liaise with Facilities Managers and contractors to clarify technical matters Maintain accurate customer data and service records Ensure compliance with BGIS systems (QMS, OH&S, EMS) and relevant legislation Support KPI delivery and maintain high client satisfaction Education, Experience & Skills Essential: Previous experience in a Customer Service Centre or Operations Centre CEFR English proficiency level B2 or above Strong professional telephone manner (listening, empathy, clarity) Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong keyboard skills with speed and accuracy Ability to manage pressure and prioritise effectively Desirable: Certificate IV in Customer Service Experience dispatching work in Facilities Management or trade environments Workplace Flexibility This role is based in Adelaide CBD within our National Operations Centre.
