Description

Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join the Aged Care & Disabilities team!

  • Full time 35 hours week
  • Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
  • Weekly pay cycle
  • Salary range $1243.23 - $1491.85

ABOUT YOU

Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration (or Customer Service equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience with computers, including operating software systems, Microsoft office and internet
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Demonstrated ability to promote Council in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to political and other issues
  • Willingness to learn new systems and possess a commitment to a continuous improvement workplace
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Work Health and Safety
  • Current Driver Licence
Responsibilities

The Customer Service Officer position is to provide high-quality, person-centred customer service to clients, carers, families, staff and service providers accessing aged care and disability services. The role acts as the first point of contact, offering accurate information, compassionate support, and timely referral in alignment with legislative requirements, Gilgandra Shire policies, procedures and sector best practices.
