YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems would be desirable
  • Experience within the Defence and/or Logistics environment would be highly advantageous
Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer / Inventory Coordinator to join our team at our Myambat site. You will be responsible for managing the inventory functions by operating our stock control computer system, whilst providing great customer service to our customer, the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
This role is exciting, challenging and rewarding; no two days will be the same! As the first point of contact for our customer, the ADF, you will need a positive attitude, be an active listener with excellent attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet. In turn, we will provide you with the training and support needed to succeed.

Located at our Myambat site, on Wanaruah and Kamilaroi land, your role will be:

  • Ensuring accurate operation of the electronic and manual inventory stock management system
  • Instruct and train staff as required and to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Planning and controlling work activities, including resource allocation and time management
  • Maintain all Technical Publications relevant to the operation of the Inventory Office
  • Building & maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Demonstrating a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety
