Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact with our clients at our Community Services Centre’s or Service Hub’s, providing quality administrative services to our local offices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Child Protection and Permanency Services on the Mid North Cost District, you will:

  • Provide customer service, reception duties, answering telephones and responding to referrals.
  • Support the caseworker teams with administrative duties with a focus on customer service.
  • Enter accurate data onto DCJ systems, maintaining records management systems, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide secretarial support to group supervision and meetings while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain records and arranging services such as dispatching mail and courier services, office repairs, vehicle management, arranging cleaning, and ordering office supplies and equipment.
  • Promote and foster compliance with DCJ policies, procedures and systems.
