Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company), is currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team, where you will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
You’ll become part of a successful team at our Thomastown branch, where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer service/sales experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Processing cash sales, quotes, and orders
  • Merchandising
  • Receipt of stock and checking invoices
  • Maximising sales opportunities
  • General administration duties
    Our ideal candidate will be an experienced retail sales/customer service representative, who has excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve and provide customer solutions.
    You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires attention to detail and time management skills to efficiently meet our customer’s needs.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in a similar customer service/sales and administration role
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients and establish strong rapport
  • A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skillset
  • Microsoft Office & SAP system experience highly regarded.
  • Team player and can multi-task well
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders
