We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Officers to support the visitor experience and cafe teams in delivering exceptional customer service. With over 100,000 visitors each year, it’s a fun and fast-paced environment where you will be part of a team that makes every visitor experience special.
In this role, you’ll be amongst the cafe action, greeting customers with a smile, serving food and drinks and helping things run smoothly front of house.
Several casual positions are available, based at our Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre in Cooma. The centre operates 7 days a week, 360+ days a year, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming and positive environment for all visitors
  • Take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages with efficiency and care
  • Operate the point of sale system, handle cash and manage transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented café space, following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer enquiries in person, over the phone and online with a helpful, customer-first approach.
  • Restock cafe supplies and assist with stock management to keep the cafe and merchandise areas running smoothly.
  • Support teammates across cafe and visitor services during busy periods to ensure consistent and excellent customer service standards.
