We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our busy sea and air freight operations team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in international freight and logistics. Job Description Based in our Apia, Samoa office and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a key role in driving excellence across our operations. Here’s what you’ll do: You will support sea and air freight customers by delivering efficient, accurate, and professional service across the full booking and documentation process. In addition, you will learn how to: Provide daily customer service support for sea and air freight Prepare accurate rate quotes and provide up-to-date schedule information Manage end-to-end booking processes Handle cargo procedures Update bookings and arrange transport Process import/export documentation including Bills of Lading, Waybills, and Airway Bills Receive and process payments Assist with general operational support across the team You will be trained across multiple functions – this is a role for someone who is really looking to get their foot in the door in the freight industry. Therefore, your positive attitude and enthusiasm are your biggest attributes! Qualifications Here’s what you’ll bring to the table: 2 to 3 years of secondary school education, with a diploma considered an advantage Enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn Initiative and eagerness to get stuck in Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Industry experience would be considered an advantage, but is not essential The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
