Job Details Job Location: Internet Customer Service - Fort Lauderdale, FL Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Retail Description The Customer Service Representative with Accounting Clerk responsibilities will act as the first point of contact for the accounting department and will still handle customer service representative duties as well. This person will use critical thinking skills to resolve incidents quickly and consistently while assessing customer needs and exceeding customer expectations. The Accounting Clerk responsibilities include: completing administrative work associated with Internet transactions and will work closely with the Customer Service Manager and with accounting department, order fulfillment team, and the stores to ensure accuracy in these transactions. Daily: Perform daily customer service operations Customer Communications Answer phone calls Answer customer email Respond to Live Chat Send out gift cards purchased as quickly as possible (Store 80) Record and resolve out-of-stock orders (Store 80) Complete Returns quickly and correctly All Intranet Returns Applying Gift Cards to Receipts in Celerant Respond to chargebacks for the following All Major Credit Cards – Amex Chargebacks have to be drafted and then submitted to the Controller Discount Receipts & Refunds for UPS Claims Accounting Reconciliation Reports Managing All canceled/out-of-stock items with Drop Ship Vendors Following Up on Direct Shipment Missing Orders Report Uploading Tracking Information via Amazon Missing track numbers on orders In the Intranet Checking on receipts that are closed but not fully shipped Affirm order Refund required emails Billing Location 27 – Starting Months is September – April Ikon pass and demo trip Billing Status – reviewing and fixing orders Processing Status- working on all orders that have not been billed over the 72-hour process (72-hour use weekend orders sometimes do not bill in 24 hours) Weekly: Manage customer-owned warranties per RA Log Updating the Accounting SOPS During season hours and accounting work will be prioritized first before Customer Service Representative duties. Job responsibilities are subject to change. Qualifications/Skills/Requirements High school diploma/GED required Associates Degree or some college background 2 years of experience in sales, inventory management, customer service: retail, call centers, especially in outdoor, a huge plus Proven ability to proactively learn and solve problems Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills Some online and computer experience (type >30 WPM) Detailed-oriented Knowledge of outdoor gear, ski/snow experience, or cold weather experience Benefits: Benefits include a fun team environment and competitive pay.
