Description Summary Under the general direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for responding to purchase orders, order statuses, and general inquiries. Customer Service Representatives coordinate information between procurement, manufacturing, and the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serves as a liaison between management, sales, production, purchasing, and customers concerning the processing of requests and purchase orders Processes customer complaints regarding quality tolerance, specifications, and delivered condition of products according to company procedure Maintains a good working relationship with various internal departments to insure a professional and complete presentation to the customer Manages customer schedules and requirements Processes exceptions according to company policy and/or procedure Partakes in business review meetings to ensure customer satisfaction While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
