Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor – the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:

  • Provide quality customer service in both inbound and outbound call centre
  • Actively participating in sales programs to maintain and increase circulation
  • Continually promote our monthly pre-payment plans
  • Follow up calls to new starts and restarts to ensure quality service
  • Contacting existing customer base to renew their subscriptions
  • In the case of potential cancellations, identifying the customers’ needs to improve service & attempting to retain them as a subscriber
  • Complete accurate customer account transactions during calls
  • Clerical support functions or other duties for Circulation Department as assigned
