SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

2-3 years of experience preferable in instrumentation industry
First preferred degree in engineering (instrumentation, chemical and allied streams) or chemistry
Second preferred degree in technology
Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (required)
Experience in doing order booking & customer support (preferred)
Experience in using Oracle Order Management functions (preferred) or similar
Experience in using CRM tool and customer management (preferred)
Experience in using Salesforce tool & Quote tool (preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Main task is to do the Order booking in Oracle.
  • Knowledge of commercial terms of a purchase order.
  • Working on Discount Approval process and taking approval as per DOA.
  • Working with finance for finance validations & Supply chain for allocating ship sets.
  • Work on Shipment Plan, Hold release of orders through oracle, Item allocation with the help of Supply chain team.
  • Sending PI to customers and follow-up for Payments and get it applied with the help of finance.
  • Work on Return/RMA’s & customer complaint and follow-up with respective stakeholders for resolving customer issues.
  • Generation of pre orders & FOC orders (Rejected order/ to fulfilled orders)
  • Reply to queries from customers on Orders related tasks such as: Delivery period, ETA of an order, Test certificates, QAP, MSDS, COA, Shelf-life details etc.
  • Bridge between customer / field sales team / After Market team / service team and supply chain
  • Work on New Customer creation & Vendor registration.
  • Working on customer portals for order related activities.
  • Filling Demo forms and supporting sales team to issue demo instruments from Supply chain.
  • Working on PBG required by customer with the help of finance team.
  • Support Customer Service teams as needed
  • Collect data and consolidate information from Salesforce.com
  • Drive daily management / visual management rhythms for the quote-to-book-Payment process
  • Support and/or lead relevant continuous improvement initiatives from time to time
  • Deliver key outputs within relevant service levels
  • Proposal & Related Coordination with CPs to ensure timely proposal is sent to customers.
  • Follow up with customer on status update post sending the proposal. Follow up with CPs on timely release of BDM POs
  • Preparing the service quotations based on inputs from service engineers & BDMs (warranty / non-warranty parts, consumables, spares, etc) & sending offer to customers through CPs.
  • Maintain a tracker of service bench.
  • Internal & External coordination.
