JOB OVERVIEW

Brandon Mobility (www.brandonmobility.com) is a locally owned and operated company that prides itself on being a community-focused independent supplier of home medical equipment and supplies for the aging population, and people with disabilities, throughout southwestern Manitoba.
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative/Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in our Brandon location. This entry level role will provide support to our administrative and sales departments, as well as serve customers on the phone and in our showroom.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills in fluent English (both verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer skills - must be comfortable with MS Office Suite and experience with book-keeping software is an asset (knowledge of BusinessVision or Spire is a plus)
  • Experience with billing, accounts payable and administrative responsibilities
  • Comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with clients, customers and co-workers
  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for:

  • Customer Service including answering phones, responding to client inquiries and dispatching phone calls and emails to appropriate parties
  • Coordinating with clinicians in Acute Care, Long Term Care and in the Community to assist sales representatives with equipment demo and rental requests
  • Data entry and assist with bookkeeping duties such as AR, AP, purchasing and inventory management
  • Coordinating with healthcare professionals to complete billing requests
  • Inside sales including working with clients in our showroom to assist with the purchase of basic mobility and medical equipment
  • Ensuring showroom remains stocked and product is priced
  • Adhering to Brandon Mobility procedures to allow for a safe work environment
