Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Markham, ON)

Location: Markham, ON (Highway 7 & Highway 404)

  • On-site Monday to Thursday
  • Work-from-home Fridays

Compensation: $24/hour
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
  • Take ownership of customer interactions and provide complete resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams, product managers, and partners to gather information and solve customer needs
  • Provide updates on order status, check inventory, schedule returns, file shipping claims, and assist with billing inquiries
  • Document all interactions in the system accurately and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring customers feel supported and valued
  • Manage difficult conversations with professionalism, patience, and confidence
  • Contribute to process improvements and support team success

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a phone/email contact center environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal); bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Ability to handle performance-based/metric-driven work environments
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Windows-based systems, digital phone systems, and CRM software
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
