Responsibilities: • Main lobby operations – check-ins, check-outs, guest visits and tours, answering general questions • Answering and handling calls in a professional manner • Maintaining cleanliness • Maintaining cleanliness • Scheduling • File maintenance • Data entry Qualifications Skills Required Possess a love of animals Displays a professional manner at all times Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays Lift/carry 40 pounds or more Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work on a computer system Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions. Essential Job Functions Welcomes both human and pet guests Can correctly identify animal body language/behavior Follows safe handling procedures Checking in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer service Escorts pets to and from their rooms Takes reservations over the phone Can work both individually and as a team player while performing duties Contributes in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility Communication with management and other team members Required Education High School Graduate or Equivalent At least 1 year of professional animal experience
