In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing outstanding administrative support. Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: United, REMOTE Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $27 - $33 USD per hour Responsibilities * Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, handling telephone and in-person enquiries with professionalism and compassion. * Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software. * Provide patients with clear and accurate information regarding their appointments, clinic procedures, and required preparations. * Register new patients and accurately update existing patient records with demographic and insurance information. * Address patient questions and concerns thoughtfully, escalating complex issues to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff when necessary. * Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure a seamless and coordinated patient journey. * Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception and waiting area. * Perform general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, data entry, and filing. Qualifications * Proven experience in a customer service, receptionist, or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare environment. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with patients in a caring and empathetic manner. * Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly desirable. * A professional demeanour and a positive attitude. * The ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with the utmost discretion. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
