We are expanding our Customer Service Team and we’re looking for a passionate, customer service-obsessed service representative to join our team here at Chadwick’s and Hack’s on Dunchurch, Ontario.
We work in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers, delivering friendly and courteous service while explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs.
This is a part-time position, working out of our support office, in Dunchurch, Ontario, where you’ll be supporting our e-commerce customer via chat, and on the phone, as well as customers that call into our location.
You will receive some hand-on training for an exceptionally knowledgeable and experience team, and then you’ll be manning our phones and helping our customers and fielding their questions, and supporting them either by phone, e-mail, or chat.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to reliable commute to, and work out of our Dunchurch, Ontario office.
  • Love to BBQ, grilling knowledge, or a foodie willing to learn.
  • Passionate about interiors and how hearth products can enhance indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Self-starter who is curious and will research and learn about the products we carry, and the services that we offer.
  • Minimum 2-year customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Background in Retail and/or Customer Service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office..
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Team player who works well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Takes initiative with a “can-do attitude” and the desire to “make things happen” and is highly accountable.
  • Ability to work effectively with speed and urgency in a high-productivity environment.
  • Bilingual (English & French) would be an asset.

Responsibilities
  • You are our company’s customer service ambassador, and you will be responding to, and resolving all of our customers’ questions and/or concerns through multiple channels including e-mail, web, chat, and phone.
  • You will be selling and suggesting amazing complimentary products to our customers to enhance the outdoor cooking and outdoor entertaining needs, fireplace and hearth products, as well as small appliances, and the accessories that we carry.
  • You will track, record, and prioritize customer support issues based on urgency and impact, and you will work with Management as necessary to expedite resolutions to any issues impacting our customers.
  • You will manage the customer order process including reviewing inventory availability, order confirmations, shipping notices, customer returns, etc.
  • You will communicate with the warehouse team regarding any order discrepancies, missing items, shipping, and inventory issues affecting customer orders and work to create the most positive experience for our customers.
  • You will handle all customer inquiries/concerns/issues with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
