Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Claims Agent to join our team and represent Assistenza as our front-line, receiving incoming calls to set up new claims. The claims agents at our call center are responsible for documenting and dispatching new claims requests to claims adjusters.

THE TASKS

Our claims agents identify the caller’s account, and the reason for their call (home claim, vehicle claim or general inquiry). The claims agents create the policy holder’s profile and gather the caller’s information. Once the subject of the call and details have been collected, the caller must be advised of the next steps to expect when filing a claim. The claims agent will be expected to follow protocol for each account/contract. Calls come from clients from across Canada and the United States.
