This is a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative, based in our Auckland, New Zealand office to join our Communication and Transaction Services team. If you’re looking for a job that challenges you and gives you opportunities to grow, you’ve found the right role.
Computershare Issuer Services (CIS) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing registry services to clients and their investors. The Communication and Transaction Services team operates within this division at a local level and services the requirements of our clients’ investors. Communication and Transaction Services Officer works within the team and will be allocated specific tasks to support delivery of all transactions and responses to investor queries.

Reporting to the Communication & Transaction Services Manager, you will be responsible for taking all inbound calls and responding to all email correspondence received from our shareholders.

SOME OF YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Responding to investor enquiries by telephone, email, and other written correspondence in a timely manner
  • Following agreed procedures to update investor details on the register, including change of address, name, bank account and any other changes required
  • Using appropriate escalation points to effectively manage any investor complaints
  • Keeping knowledge up to date of current activities within the business
  • Understanding risk factors related to a situation or activity
  • Manage and organise documentation for audit purposes

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with investors and any other relevant third parties
  • Strong computer literacy – ability to work on different systems quickly and accurately
  • Intermediate level of understanding of Microsoft Office, predominantly Outlook and Word
  • Highly developed organisation skills, time management and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and logical approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • A desire to learn and be challenged
