Accident Support Services is the official reporting center for Police Services throughout Canada. We have been providing professional collision management solutions in partnership between Police, Insurance Companies, and private enterprise since 1994.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Full Time associate that will be working at Edmonton Accident Support Services, 15750 116 Ave. and 5805 87A St., the successful candidate will prepare motor vehicle collision reports for Police, photograph damaged vehicles, & assist drivers in the initial stages of reporting their collision to their Insurer. The successful candidate must be able to travel between our Edmonton locations on an as-needed basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work;
  • Must have Data Entry skills
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in an customer service or retail position; previous experience with data entry is an asset;
  • Able to undergo and pass additional background testing; complete criminal background check;
  • Available to work flexible hours and shifts as required;
  • Excellent keyboarding and customer service skills are a requirement;
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills;
  • Must have high attention to detail;
  • Must have basic knowledge of computer programs;
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; and
  • Must have the ability to manage frequently changing priorities in a fast paced and often high-pressure environment

Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, determine their needs & direct them accordingly
  • Respond to telephone inquiries or forward callers to the appropriate person or authority
  • Verify driver documents (license, ownership and insurance)
  • Data enter information using custom software in order to produce MVC report for Police, Insurance and Alberta Transportation
  • File reports or retrieve as required;
  • Photograph vehicle damage & upload images
  • Operate digital scanner to transfer paper documents to digital file database
