Description

The Customer Service Representative role is an exciting opportunity to support the Sherman, TX, Emerson team. You will guarantee a positive customer experience, building strong relationships with our customers in every interaction, whether by phone or email. You will ensure quick and reliable processing of customer requests, as well as manage speedy and knowledgeable responses to assist customers at any stage of the order and proactively solve any problems. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Providing superior customer service by managing all aspects of the customer perception utilizing customer relationship techniques and communication skills. Coordinating with Applications Engineering, Project Management, Logistics and Exports to establish acceptable dates for quotes, express, FAST, and pre-com orders. Reviewing and researching customer inquiries and issues and following up, with every customer request within 24-48 hours. Facilitating customer expediters and inspectors when required and follows through to acquire shipment and inspection releases. Who You Are: You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. You identify and seize new opportunities. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making criteria and principles. For This Role, You Will Need: Associates degree or four years of experience in Customer Service with direct customer contact responsibilities Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills Strong critical thinking skills as well as effective problem-solving skills Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
