Description Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: Glen Burnie, MD Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site Reports To: Customer Service Manager Position Summary: Fibox, Inc., a global manufacturer of industrial enclosures, is seeking a self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal sales teams, delivering responsive, professional support through phone, email, and order management systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and provide first-level support for product inquiries, pricing, and availability. Accurately enter customer purchase orders into inventory and accounting systems, ensuring error-free submissions. Prepare and send order confirmations to clients in a timely manner. Maintain and update customer records and contact information in the CRM system. Coordinate with Sales Representatives to ensure smooth order processing and client satisfaction. Respond to customer emails and inquiries, ensuring to direct customers to the appropriate department when needed, and consistently provide clear and courteous communication. Communicate order changes, backorders, shipping delays, or shortages to customers and internal stakeholders. Ship out product literature and marketing materials to customers upon request. Learn and retain product and service knowledge to better assist customers. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of OEM, industrial, or electrical products is a plus. Proficiency using order entry systems, ERP platforms, CRM tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Possesses a strong technical aptitude with the ability to use multiple software systems seamlessly and simultaneously. Works well independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer centric approach, professional demeanor, and proven success in building rapport and lasting connections. Remains calm under pressure and uses critical thinking skills when problem-solving or diffusing challenging situations or difficult customers. Possesses a strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to identify and correct errors in a timely manner. Ability to multitask, prioritize time, and maintain organization across multiple channels (phone, email, database).
