QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the print industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator.
  • A strong portfolio or examples of basic design work.
  • Familiarity with print production processes and preparing files for printing (understanding of bleeds, color modes, and resolution is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex print concepts to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, creative problem-solver with a desire to contribute to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly collaborative and dependable Customer Service Representative who also has some graphic design experience. In this dual-function role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, helping them bring their print projects to life. You will assist customers with their orders and inquiries while also handling basic graphic design tasks and preparing files for print production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person, providing prompt and friendly assistance.
  • Consult with customers on their printing needs, offering expertise on our products, services, and capabilities.
  • Process customer orders, prepare quotes, and manage job tickets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with basic graphic design and file preparation, including setting up, resizing, and preparing customer artwork for various print processes.
  • Use and maintain proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and InDesign) to ensure files are print-ready.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure projects are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot file issues and manage customer feedback and revisions effectively.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and accuracy for all print jobs.
