We work directly with 20+ municipalities and 50+ jurisdictions, operate highly regulated facilities in 10+ locations, and have 1,000+ employees. We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 625 Charles St. in San Jose and limited job-related travel may be required. Position Summary: GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Customer Service Representative to provide support to one or more facilities. This role will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Managing and answering large amounts of customer service calls/questions and resolving calls in a timely manner. * Schedule deliveries, exchanges, and removals of containers * Documenting all customer service in our company specific database * Maintaining customer records by updating account information * Emailing/mailing service information to our customers * Data entry duties/reporting * Process credit card payments * Dispatching drivers on radio/scheduling drivers * Assist Office Manager with reporting, routing, billing, and other duties Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:      * Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Effective problem-solving skills and ability to follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies * Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time * Communicate effectively using appropriate communication tools and techniques   Qualifications: * 2+ years of customer service experience preferred * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook   Language Skill:   * Proficiency in English and/or Spanish    Physical Demands:   * Must be able to sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time * Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.   Work Environment:   Typical work week is Monday through Friday in an office setting.        This Organization participates in E-Verify.     GreenWaste provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and/or local laws.
