POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently looking for a responsible and dependable Customer Service Representative to work at our head office in Edmonton, AB. This is an entry level position and is primarily responsible for taking customer orders while providing excellent customer service for residential concrete and aggregate projects. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service, order taking, or similar role.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft products such as Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience using an ERP system is an asset.
  • Prior experience working in the concrete, construction, or a related industry is an asset.
  • College or University diploma or degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Handles all incoming customer calls, providing excellent customer service.
  • Input customer information into ERP to process concrete and aggregate orders.
  • Accurately provide product information to customers, including pricing and add mixture details.
  • Collect customer payment details, making accurate entries into the ERP and communicating payment terms to the customer.
  • Enter POs accurately and efficiently to the corresponding customer.
  • Liaise between customers, dispatch team, and sales teams to ensure concrete is delivered on time and within scope.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and payments.
  • Escalate customer concerns as needed.
  • General office administrative duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
