Description O’Rourke Sales Company has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Returns Team at our Davenport, IA Location. We are an established national distributor offering numerous lines of consumer electronics and standard to high-end appliances. Our operation spans from the East Coast to the West Coast with six branch operations. O’Rourke Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Job Type: Full-time, Office Environment, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage external and internal email accounts Generate and track claims within an internal software portal Communicate with internal departments relating to returned / defective products Evaluate returned items and place in proper inventory File claims with carriers when goods are damaged or lost File for return authorizations to vendors Coordinate with internal and external teams to return shipments to vendors Track return shipments and coordinate with accounting ensuring credits are received Set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to manage claim progress Update sales staff with progress and disposition of claims Other duties as assigned, may vary Requirements JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Highly organized Self-motivated Good communicator Strong computer skills Problem-solving abilities Information retention Demonstrates reliable Attendance/punctuality and work history Ability to work within a team Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
