Description
Job Title: Customer Service Representative Department/Area: Materials Plant Automotive Job Objective The Customer Service Representative obtains and interprets finished product requirements. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and organizing daily and weekly delivery information to ensure adequate shipment quantities. The representative initiates shipments and verifies that all delivery requirements are met, while ensuring future demand is communicated accurately. Main Responsibilities Provide customer support by ensuring shipping processes are completed accurately and on time. Perform all BAAN transactions for daily and weekly shipments, including generating the necessary documentation. Analyze daily shipment requirements from Daimler Chrysler, FORD, and prepare corresponding shipment lists. Ensure timely and accurate transmission of ASNs for daily shipments to avoid shortages or rating system violations. Monitor daily ticket release windows to respond promptly to urgent requirements. Process BAAN transactions for Service Parts shipments provided by the PICS Supervisor through the production schedule. Conduct strategic inventories of finished goods to maintain updated daily information. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree completed. Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions. Required Competencies Knowledge of shipping processes. Knowledge of MRP and MRP II systems. Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Strong customer service orientation. Excellent communication skills. Teamwork and ability to perform under pressure. Sense of urgency, participative attitude. Negotiation skills with customers. Ability to hold a conversation in English. Job Conditions Salary: $45,000 MXN. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with availability to attend early morning calls. Required mobility between Apodaca and Guadalupe plants.
