ABOUT US

We are a Canadian non-profit organization expanding our outreach efforts across Toronto and the GTA. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Representatives to join our team of volunteers and independent contractors, supporting fundraising activities, community campaigns, and branded events.
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will act as a brand ambassador and frontline connection with the public. You will support fundraising initiatives, promote community campaigns, and represent the organization at retail booths and events. This is a contract-based position , offering flexibility, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to transition into a Team Lead role for those who excel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, fundraising, or events (preferred but not required)
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable engaging with the public
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends as needed
  • Ideally have access to a personal vehicle (not mandatory)
Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization as a brand ambassador at fundraising events, retail booths, and community locations
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with donors and answering inquiries about campaigns
  • Promote fundraising initiatives and encourage community participation
  • Assist in the setup, merchandising, and branding of stands and booths
  • Support donation management by collecting, recording, and reporting contributions accurately
  • Work collaboratively with a team of volunteers and independent contractors to achieve outreach goals
  • Opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role, coordinating and supporting others in the field
