Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Contract Customer Service Representative to work in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will play a critical role in managing client accounts, handling order processing, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service. This is a 6-9 month contract role with potential to extend.
Work Schedule:
Onsite during the training period, Potential to work hybrid after training

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to providing high-level customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and shared email, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Accurately enter and maintain sales and sample orders (domestic and import) in SAP, including pricing, product details, delivery dates, and customer account information.
  • Monitor and manage open orders; coordinate adjustments related to customer requests, production schedules, or shipping changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer pricing in SAP; run price block reports and ensure accurate invoicing for shipped products.
  • Process customer chargebacks (e.g., demurrage, detention) with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize SAP, SharePoint, and OneNote to track customer/product information and manage reporting tools (e.g., Z block report).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Supply Chain, EHS, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide team coverage during absences or vacations as needed.
  • Maintain detailed customer profiles to support account management and service consistency.
  • Uphold all safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene standards and protocols in all tasks and responsibilities.
