WHAT YOU BRING
The ideal candidate must have a sound knowledge of business administration normally acquired through a Community College in Business or Office Administration. Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably in a municipal environment; the candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, strong knowledge of computer software applications as well as the exceptional organizational, time management and public relations skills. A valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check are also required for this role.
The Township is seeking applicants to fill three (3) part-time contract vacancies for the position of Customer Service Representative. Reporting to the Corporate Customer Service and System Implementation Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and public relations, coordinate and execute administrative functions, support and champion corporate goals and decisions within the community in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner. This role is based primarily out of Simcoe Woods Community Centre, but duties may extend to other Township facilities on an as-needed basis.
